Resumen:
La investigación que se propone es de carácter teórico-práctica. En ella trataremos de ofrecer cocimientos sobre la vida, obra y circunstancias del músico Aldemaro Romero, como primera parte del trabajo. En segundo lugar se ofrece un análisis descriptivo de la obra seleccionada: Suite for Cello and Piano. Y por último una edición digital, personal y orientativa de la misma.
Este compositor ha destacado tanto por su faceta interpretativa, como en la de director, por no hablar de su extensa obra, que trata estilos tan dispares como son la música sacra, música folclórica de Suramérica, jazz, etc. También hay que mencionar la creación del ritmo de Onda Nueva en la década de los ’60 junto a su percusionista predilecto Frank “El Pollo”.
Además se tratan todos los aspectos estilísticos e históricos de la obra, a través del análisis y búsqueda documental, para comprender su creación junto con una interpretación propia que quedará reflejada en la edición. Esta misma se ha visto conveniente pues solo existía una edición de la obra, consistente en la parte general de la partitura donde no se reflejan todas las anotaciones que aparecen en el manuscrito además de contener algunos errores de transcripción
Abstract:
The proposed research is theoretical-practical in nature. In this we will try to offer information about the life, work and circumstances of the musician Aldemaro Romero, as the first part of the work. Secondly, a descriptive analysis of the selected work is offered: Suite for Cello and Piano; And finally a digital edition, personal and orientative of it.
This composer has stood out as much on his interpretative facet, as in the direction, not to mention his extensive work; this treat different styles such as sacred music, folk music of South America, jazz, etc. Also worth mentioning is the creation of the New Wave rhythm in the 60s with his favorite percussionist Frank "El Pollo".
In addition, we will study all the aesthetic and historical aspects of the work, through the analysis and the documentary search, to understand its creation, as well as its own interpretation that will be reflected in the edition; This has been convenient because there was only one edition of the work, consisting of the general part of the score and this does not reflect all the annotations that was writed in the manuscript besides to appear some transcription errors.
